Close to Salerno is a coast looking out of sea,called by the locals the coast of Amalfi, covered with little towns, gardens and fountains,and men rich and profitable in the art of trade and other.
Amongst the towns there is one called Ravello, 350 meters above sea level, where the light effects and magical architecture create a vision of rare intensity. Its name is immortalized in Boccaccio's Decameron.
